The Pigtronix Phase Ranger modulation effects pedal is an analog phase shifter pedal offering two distinct varieties of classic, vintage-inspired modulation in an easy-to-use, micro package. At the heart of the Phase Ranger is an octet of precision-matched VCAs that produce silky smooth linear phase shifting with remarkable dynamic range, low-noise performance and crystal-clear sound. Standard knobs for Speed and Depth dictate the rate and intensity of the syrupy phase tone offered by the Phase Ranger. The two LFO controls are joined by a single, push-button toggle switch that selects either 4-stage or 8-stage phase shifting. The 4-stage mode takes you straight to the late 1970's with a wide-open, groovy sound. The 8-stage mode creates a more complex and detailed phaser previously found only in high-end studio gear from the glory days of analog synthesis.
