The Jackson Concert Bass JS2 Black lets bassists tap into deep, punchy tones. This 34"-scale four-string bass features a lightweight poplar body, bolt-on maple neck and 12"-16" compound radius amaranth fingerboard for comfortable playability. Powered by dual high-output Jackson humbucking pickups, the JS2 produces a monstrous low-end growl with clarity and detail. The Jackson HiMass bridge provides rock-solid stability and improved sustain. The JS2 Bass gives you high performance at an affordable price.

High-Output Pickups for Powerful Low End

The Jackson high-output humbucking bass pickups are painstakingly voiced to deliver fat, punchy tones with plenty of low-end rumble but not too much harshness. Roll off some highs with the tone control for a vintage thump or open up the highs for modern articulation. With these high-output pickups, you'll have enough output and definition to cut through the mix.

    Compound Radius Fingerboard

Jackson pioneered the innovative 12"-16" compound radius fingerboard design. Near the nut, the rounder fingerboard radius is ideal for comfortable chording and rhythm playing. Farther up the neck, the flatter radius facilitates fast lead work, bends and wide vibrato. This combination of curves suits any playing style.

    HiMass Bridge for Rock-Solid Stability

The Jackson HiMass bridge provides exceptional stability for improved sustain and clearer tone. Its solid, non-resonant base won't absorb vibrations from the strings. Massive brass saddles firmly anchor each string in place, eliminating "dead" spots. The HiMass bridge stands up to aggressive playing, keeping your bass sounding great at high volumes and during heavy hits.
