The Dave Mustaine Vanguard Rust In Peace Electric Guitar delivers the powerful, heavy sounds and fast playing performance that the legendary guitarist demands. This ax is equipped with a symmetrical mahogany Vanguard body and 25.5" scale mahogany neck for warmth and sustain. It features an ebony fretboard with 24 jumbo frets for fluid leads and improved bending. Black chrome hardware and Mustaine's signature Seymour Duncan Thrash Factor pickups provide the high-output tone required for thrashing metal riffs. Mustaine worked closely with Seymour Duncan to develop the Thrash Factor pickups. These active humbuckers produce tight lows, aggressive mids and searing highs ideal for Megadeth's brand of shred. The bridge pickup delivers punchy power chords and cutting leads. The neck pickup provides warmth and clarity for rhythm playing and soloing on the higher frets.
