Made of palisono, a synthetic that resists the effects of moisture. May be played on the floor, in the hand, or on a table. The resonance plate on these bars is adjustable to provide optimum vibration of the bar. Resonator bars have a variety of uses in Orff programs, including general music and movement activities, and music therapy. The deep bass bars may be used individually or in combination with a deep bass xylophone or by using the contra and sub-contra bass bars they can reproduce timpani voicing.
